I’m glad that the Navy was able to get the Comfort up and running so quickly, given that it was torn apart for maintenance purposes just a week ago. 1000 hospital beds and 12 operating rooms for trauma cases will allow the NYC docs to focus on Co-vid 19 cases. I couldn’t find out how many ventilators they had, but maybe they could loan those to the NYC hospitals.

Math rescued me today. Maybe it can rescue you, too. … I was heading to a very dark place until I saw an article in today’s NYT about a logarithmic graph showing the rate of growth of CV is slowing in Italy. I found comfort in seeing that this too shall pass, even though it will get worse before it gets better.
