…Reading about him in today's NYT reminds me that he operates like so many of the adolescent boys I used to teach, acting out to get attention. The NYT says that he has a "singular grip" on your immigration policy and that he is your " ideological chaperone." I hope you will find some kinder, gentler people to inform your thinking about immigration. ..

Tell Stephen Miller and Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II to back off of the plan to withhold Green Cards from poor folks. Those guys are misguided and don't realize that many of the patient and tender folk providing elder care in this country will be hurt by this. Lots of families depend on them to provide help for their frail loved ones. I am sure you don't want those old folks to have to suffer because their helpers decide to go home.

Please help me understand the logic in arresting people who have been in the country for several years, paying taxes and working hard at an unpleasant job. They aren't hurting anyone. … It seems only fair to raid every poultry plant, so please make sure that the Perdue plants get hit sometime soon.

…Have you heard of polyfluoroalkyl (PFAs) substancesthat are used in aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) to extinguish flammable liquid fires? Another of these amazing inventions with the potential to cause great harm… I am sure you will want to give Andrew Wheeler a call and make sure that the EPA gets busy on figuring out what to do about regulating PFAs. GA and several other states are way out ahead of them on this, and it's time to show some leadership so that we can all get on the same page.

… do you agree with me that no one needs to be able to shoot 10 rounds without having to reload? According to Robert Spitzer writing in today's NYT the gun industry is about to release some lighter guns with "better anti-friction self-lubricating technology" that will enable them to shoot 40 - 100 rounds. You could start by banning those. It would be a small start but it would show that you are trying.
