My dear friend and president, DJT,

I am back home and thinking about what kind of fresh start I want to have. Spending less time on these letters comes to mind, but I'm not sure that's possible. I might be addicted to this convoluted process of trying to offer you loving advice. Maybe because it's engrossing to read newspapers from all around the country. Today, because of your rally in Manchester NH tonight,  I consulted the Boston Globe where Victoria McGrane pointed out that folks in NH either love or hate you, and I read in the NH Union Leader Kevin Landrigen's suggestion that you talk about the economy rather than attacking your opponents. He says that things are looking up in the Granite State. He must have written that right before the stock market took its tumble yesterday. While reading the paper is diverting, I could be doing other things with my time. My mentor, Eliz Fennema, told me to keep at it, so for the time being, I think I will.

Anyway, as I think about developing a new routine for my 2019/20 academic year, I contemplate my priorities and try to figure out how best to divide my time between work and home. Any suggestions you might have for me would be appreciated.

            Best,

            RCA
