My dear friend and president, DJT,

It's Sunday and I hope you will take the opportunity to say a prayer. I will hold you in the Light during Meeting for Worship today. I have a string of beads that I use while meditating in the silence. As I hold each one, I send good vibes in the direction of the person it represents. I have one for my husband, my daughter, my family, my colleagues, my women friends, folks who might be sick, folks who might be feuding, Friends in my Meeting, and you. Yes, you have your own bead so I can send love your way. When Quakers hold someone in the Light they lift up that person hoping that they will feel loved so they can let their Divine spark shine for the world to see and operate with a sense of hope rather than a sense of fear.

I might put a bead for Stephen Miller on there, too. Reading about him in today's NYT reminds me that he operates like so many of the adolescent boys I used to teach, acting out to get attention. The NYT says that he has a "singular grip" on your immigration policy and that he is your " ideological chaperone." I hope you will find some kinder, gentler people to inform your thinking about immigration. In the meantime I will send good vibes his way to soften his heart.

            Best,

            RCA
