My dear friend and president, DJT,

It's a quiet morning on Christian Lake in Dunbar, WI. All I can hear are the trees rustling in the breeze and the birds tweeting. Their tweets are quite soothing. Perhaps you could learn a lesson from them.

Background checks and banning assault rifles - gotta love 'em. The end of gun manufacturing altogether would be even better, but humans would find some other way to exercise their creativity, brilliance and diligence to produce some other highly engineered lethal weapon. We, humans, are so smart that we may fabricate our own demise. Climate change, nuclear bombs, weapons of mass destruction, all brought to us by our own ingenuity.

Have you heard of polyfluoroalkyl (PFAs) substancesthat are used in aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) to extinguish flammable liquid fires - another of these amazing inventions with the potential to cause great harm? They work really well but also cause cancer. Since they are "forever chemicals" they accumulate in our bodies. They are getting into our drinking water. Scientists are trying to figure out just how much of it our bodies can tolerate. It's especially bad for babies! I know how much you love babies, so I am sure you will want to give Andrew Wheeler a call and make sure that the EPA gets busy on figuring out what to do about regulating PFAs. GA and several other states are way out ahead of them on this, and it's time to show some leadership so that we can all get on the same page.

It's too bad that Ivanka wrote that tweet about gun violence in Chicago and did some damage to her budding relationship with Chi town's new mayor. I appreciate that she wants to draw attention to the chronic violence plaguing Chicago, but Lori Lightfoot would prefer they work together to get guns off the streets of Chicago.

I think we all need to remember tweeting is for the birds.

            Best,

            RCA
