I am back home and thinking about what kind of fresh start I want to have. Spending less time on these letters comes to mind, but I'm not sure that's possible. I might be addicted to this convoluted process of trying to offer you loving advice.
Tell Stephen Miller and Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II to back off of the plan to withhold Green Cards from poor folks. Those guys are misguided and don't realize that many of the patient and tender folk providing elder care in this country will be hurt by this. Lots of families depend on them to provide help for their frail loved ones. I am sure you don't want those old folks to have to suffer because their helpers decide to go home.
Please help me understand the logic in arresting people who have been in the country for several years, paying taxes and working hard at an unpleasant job. They aren't hurting anyone. … It seems only fair to raid every poultry plant, so please make sure that the Perdue plants get hit sometime soon.
…You owe a big debt to your buddy Steve Ross, because as I'm sure you know, many of his customers and employees at Soulcycle don't like the fact that he hosted that your $$ buddies at Sandcastle. Since the company's philosophy is to provide an "inspirational, meditative fitness experience that’s designed to benefit the body, mind and soul," folks' aren't happy that their minds and soul are too troubled by your tweets to put their hearts into their workouts. …

According to Robert Spitzer writing in today's NYT the gun industry is about to release some lighter guns with "better anti-friction self-lubricating technology" that will enable them to shoot 40 - 100 rounds. You could start by banning those. It would be a small start but it would show that you are trying.
… Your guy, Dr. Robert Redfield, proposed organizing syringe exchanges. I think that's a great idea, and seems like a bold move for a Republican. In the past, folks like Jesse Helms said, funding needle exchanges was like the government saying, "it’s not only all right to use drugs, but we’ll give you the needles.” …
…I encourage you to take a look at the article in today's NYT about the closing of the Warroad Pioneer, the newspaper that has been serving a corner of northern MN for the last 121 years. The owner says that the“dire retail reconfiguration and exodus has had a catastrophic impact on this community newspaper.” Maybe you can do something about this…
