…Speaking of flames, please express your concern for those of us breathing smoke out here on the West Coast. As you can see from the frontpage story in the WP, “blazes are engulfing us” or as others might say, “We be Burnin.”…
Reading about Sgt. Maj. Thomas "Patrick" Payne who you will be honoring with the Medal of Honor this afternoon lifted my spirits. … I love his humility. He doesn’t consider himself a recipient of the Medal, rather a “guardian” of it, because he believes that all of the soldiers that he fought with are heroes. I would love to see you practice that kind of humility in the next few weeks…
…I am in suspense about what Patrick Mahomes & Deshaun Watson have up their sleeves for the pre-game festivities when the Chiefs take on the Texans tonight. Of course, the Chiefs will unveil their SuperBowl LIV banner, but the players have publicized their plans to demonstrate their unity around the idea that BLM…
Since I can’t party today, I read up about the origins of this federal holiday. Fascinating! Back in 1894 folks were suffering. I believe your logic is that my mail-in ballot might not count, so I should vote in person as an insurance policy. The part about this that confuses me, is that if I plan to go to the polls in person, why would I bother with the mail-in ballot?…
…I’m afraid folks on your team made another mistake when they told you that John Rode III (JR3) owned the camera store that was destroyed in the fire in Kenosha. …He sold the store to Tom Gram(TG) 8 years ago & TG didn’t want to talk with you because he didn’t want to be part of your circus. Please encourage your people to be careful when setting up photo ops….
…We are suffering out here. Please stop encouraging those impulsive teenagers to “protect” property. They are not suited to the job. You might instead call on the Raging Grannies to put on their masks & sing their way to reconciliation. That might be just the surprise that our nation needs.
