My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

It seems that the fresh air of the Alps & the positive energy of your colleagues at the G7 are invigorating you. I assume this to be the case because you haven’t fallen asleep at any meetings. Maybe, you took my advice to include a power nap in your schedule or maybe you took a medication, either way it was relief that none of the media outlets published a photo of you “resting your eyes” while seated at the conference table.

Speaking of the news, were you as shocked as I was by the cover of the New York Post claiming you have “Hit Iran with a LOVEBOMB” by your deal that “showers mullahs with cash and no sanctions?” I found that characterization was distinctive in three ways - first, the NYP was one of the few papers that even mentioned the deal. Second, when they did, their headline took up the whole front page & third, it was so blatantly critical of you. Isn’t the NYP usually on your side of things? 

I could be wrong about the NYP. They don’t write to my demographic so I haven’t paid much attention to it.

As I told you yesterday, I don’t care what you promise to Iran, I just want to see the end of EFO!! WINTA!!!

OoM, what does the G7 crew have to say about AI? Are they understanding the dangers that Bruce Schneier brought up in his piece in the G where he differentiates between AI & a “harness”? I’m still trying to wrap my head around the distinction, but I am convinced that we need “constraints on the for-profit corporations currently controlling AI models & research.” He suggests an AI public option, which I hope the G7 is contemplating.

Finally, I hope you’ve brought up the topic of Burma.
