My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
I am preoccupied this morning by intruding thoughts about my actions at a meeting yesterday where I told two of my neighbors that I was tired of their macho bullshit. I attempted to articulate my observations about the gender dynamics in our co-housing community where the XX majority has to listen while our few XYs get into pissing contests.
SoW, what is this $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund all about? Is it your way of rewarding your allies for being on your side of your pissing contest with JRB? As your friend, I have to be honest with you & tell you, this fund is only going to make your approval rating go even lower. Those of us who pay our taxes do not want to see our hard earned $$ going to your sketchy buddies.
After my tirade with my XY neighbors, one tried to end the meeting without commenting on my remarks. I told him I did not feel heard & insisted that he repeat back what I’d said. He got some, but not all of it, but I greatly appreciated that he expressed regret that while he knows better, he still has trouble regulating his behavior in meetings. The other XY didn’t say anything so I have no idea how he interpreted my remarks.
Has Susan Wiles helped you understand the damage you did yourself when you told reporters last Tuesday, “I don’t think about American(s’) financial situation. I don’t think about anybody?” Did she give you some pointers on how you can help the average American feel like you are “hearing” them?
I’m sorry that this letter is coming off as a harangue. I need to get off my high horse & am hoping some time in the garden today with my daughter will help me chill.
I am somewhat soothed by the news in the Irrawaddy about the Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF) that “represents a surprisingly robust & potentially transformative development in Myanmar’s decades-long struggle for democracy & freedom.” According to Than N. Oo, “the SCEF combines political leadership with operational capacity. It is designed not only to articulate a shared vision, but also to implement it—both diplomatically and militarily.” I hope it has plenty of women involved so it can avoid the pissing contests that you XYs are so prone to engage in.
