Once again, “It’s the best of times. It’s the worst of times.”

The resonance of Dickens’ quote suggests that humans always feel this way as they ponder the paradox of their existence with its coincident hopes & fears.

This sentiment comes to mind today as I scan the front pages of American newspapers & see stories of your conversation with the astronauts on Artemis II juxtaposed with headlines such as“Apocalypse Not Now.” I wish I could focus all my attention on the amazing feat our nation’s scientists achieved by sending humans to the dark side of the moon, but I am still perseverating about on your threat to destroy a civilization, especially one that goes back 7000 years.

SoW, does Bibi know that Cyrus, the Great (CtG), liberated the Jews from Babylon so they could return to Jerusalem with their sacred vessels? Did he mention that CtG helped them rebuild their temples? Did you, two, have a plan for protecting the UNESCO sites in Iran? I hope someone is telling you that at least 56 cultural sites, monuments, & museums have been damaged in EFO. Please say something about your concern for that history to make up for your misguided comment about eradicating a civilization.

OoM, how accurate was that article in the NYT about your meetings with Bibi & others about whether to launch EFO? Do you think the leak was JDV? He comes off better than the rest of your crew.

I wish you had paid attention to General Caine’s when he told you, ““Sir, this is, in my experience, standard operating procedure for the Israelis. They oversell, and their plans are not always well-developed. They know they need us, and that’s why they’re hard-selling.” Did anyone have answers to his questions about next steps after EFO was over?

OoM, please tell your Freedom250 people at today’s reception to take down the Liberty Bracket. Asking people to choose whether Ronald Reagan & George Washington was the better “defender of liberty” creates a false dichotomy. Let’s not perpetuate the mentality that everything is a competition.

Finally, please do whatever you can to persuade MAH to become a “defender of liberty” rather than an oppressor.
