My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
Have you ever played hockey? You’d be good at it. You’re not afraid of butting heads & you like risky, fast-paced activities. I didn’t realize, until it was too late, that it was the perfect sport for me.
I was groomed to be a figure skater by my grandpa who dreamed I might be an Olympian figure so he spent the summers of ’66, ’67 & ’68 ferrying us back & forth to the South Mt. rink. Alas, we couldn’t keep up that kind of schedule, but I did develop strong ankles & the ability to balance on a thin piece of steel.
My eye/hand coordination & my collaborative personality suited me perfectly for hockey & my brother taught me that bashing into people could be fun, but girls didn’t play hockey when I was a kid so I missed my chance.
I vicariously play on USA women’s team. So far they’ve scored 15 goals to their opponents’ 1. They’ll have their hands full against Canada this afternoon, so please call them to wish them well.
Speaking of hockey, what was up with that strange post you made last night about our neighbors to the North. I am baffled by your claim that “the first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada.” Can you clarify how that might happen?
I also wonder about your threat to block the opening of the Gordie Howe (GH) Bridge. The only explanation that I can fathom for this is that Matthew Moroun requested you do that, so his Ambassador Bridge could continue to monopolize the market for transport between Detroit & Windsor.
Perhaps you made the post to distract from the Epstein files & made up some outlandish things to entertain everyone. If so, please stop doing that!
Whatever the case may be, the Canadians learned from GH how to put their “elbows up” after they’ve been checked. Best to stop messing with them.
Please read the 2/9/26 piece in the NYT, “Five Years After Myanmar Coup, ‘Even Hope Has Become a Risk,’” it’ll help you understand how devastating it can be to a country when the army gets too big & spends all its time checking people’s identity papers.
BYBS,
RCA
PS - Maybe you played hockey on the the Wollman Skating Rink after you fixed it in 1986. According to Forbes, that project “demonstrated your mastery & command of public relations & how to attract massive amounts of free press” & was the start of your “shaking up the dysfunctional political system in an almost unimaginable manner in an unfathomable timeframe.”
