My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

I’m at a loss for words right now so I am calling on the "Creative” today to inspire this letter. 

My translation of the I-Ching uses the word “Creative,” along with “Sage,” to refer to the Higher Power. I continue to be mystified by this Higher Power. I hesitate to call it “God,” because for most people that word refers to a single being who somehow presides over everything. I do not find that conception inspiring, especially since many call this being “Father.” As a feminist, I find that off-putting & as a scientifically inclined person, I cannot imagine where this guy might reside. I am more content to remain mystified & marvel at the beauty of the planet rather than trying to explain it.

Speaking of being mystified, I can’t imagine what were you thinking when you posted that racist meme. Perhaps you didn’t give it much thought, which is problematic in & of itself. I am not going to suggest remedies for the harm you caused by your careless act. None come to mind. Instead, I repeat the recommendation that I made repeatedly when you were 45 that you not post on social media late at night. I’d love to see you express some regret for your action but I’m afraid your spiritual advisors do not have the capacity to help you craft an apology.

The Venerable Bhikkhu Pannakara(BP) could be helpful in this regard. He’s leading his fellow monks in the 2300 mile Walk for Peace that has gone viral on Facebook. Their goal is to raise "awareness of peace, loving kindness, & compassion across America & the world.” They are going to arrive in DC soon & I’d love to see you welcome them at the WH. BP exudes humility & grace so he’s just the guy to help you deal with your ego issues.

I assume you are worried about your ego, because at the National Prayer Breakfast you admitted that it had “gotten very big lately” after acknowledging that you “would have had a bad ego for the rest of (your) life” if you didn’t seek reelection.   The I-Ching is all about stilling the ego. Given its longevity (it’s been around longer than the Bible), you might want to consider its teachings.

Back to BP, the world would be a better place if every leader of every country spent some time in silent meditation with someone like him as their guide. Though this practice they could find the peace of mind to lead with confidence rather than fear. This might help folks like MAH & Honduran President Nasry Asfura, who you are meeting today, promote democracy rather than ruling with an iron fist.
