I told my Yangon Friends yesterday that you never fail to surprise & you proved me correct today by choosing to speak at the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool as your last hoorah before the big day tomorrow.
Some find it curious that you have chosen to remind the nation of the fiasco surrounding the pool, but I suspect you have something up your sleeve. It may be outlandish, but that’s how you roll & it’s worked for you up to this point. I’m curious to see what your strategy turns out to be.
I’m grateful that you don’t have to fly anywhere & waste any more diesel.
I’m grateful that your rallies are behind you & I won’t have to read through the transcripts to see what parts registered on the StressLens.
SoW. I was impressed that you had 11 moments in your IA speech which hit the “strong” level yesterday. That’s more than I’ve seen in any speech, so you must have been totally revved. Did you take something to energize you? Your most animated moment came when you refuted the idea that you “ramble” by saying that you “weave.” You didn’t explain what that involves but you did call it “fricking genius.”
Speaking of genius, did you see the article in today’s G that featured James Talarico? Folks compare him to BHO & say he’s playing 5 dimensional chess in his campaign against Paxton. His ability to move folks at his rallies reminds me of you, except that Professor Cal Jillson, says JT tends to give off more “of a Sermon on the Mount vibe as opposed to this ‘I’m an angry God’.” I’m fascinated to see how things turn out in TX.
OoM, did you see that an American woman came in second in the NYC Marathon yesterday, beating last year’s champion by 6 seconds? I don’t know how they can run 5.72 minute miles for 26.2 miles. I’m happy when I jog a 12 minute mile. Heck, I’m happy that I can continuously run for a mile.
Did you see that China has opened its trade routes through the border gate controlled by the Three Brotherhood Alliance? It shows that XJ is not completely beholden to MAH. I hope some humanitarian aid can get in to help the citizens get back on their feet.
