My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Sorry to miss our letter yesterday. I had an early dentist appointment, where, by the way, I learned I need a root canal. Darn! 

Have you had one of those? According to USA Today you have a dentist office right there in the WH, so maybe you’ve had one on the downlow. In any case it doesn’t sound like fun.

I had planned to skip today’s letter but this AM was jolted awake by a NPR story where Sen Chris Murphy was talking about the Iran War saying “their plan is insane. It will lead to devastating escalation & the likely destruction of our commitment to our rule of law.” The reporter then explained that a 3rd aircraft carrier is heading to the Arabian Sea & that the State Department has drawn down US embassies in the Mid-East. He mentioned that folks in the vicinity of Iran are expecting things to get ugly. I find this news most disturbing & encourage you to reconsider your plans.

I was somewhat comforted that the other news outlets are not featuring this story, but alarmed to see Fox report that you are saying “anything’s possible with Iran,” & CBS quoting you as saying,  the war is “going to end soon.” 

My suggestion is that you end it right now. Just pull everyone out. Forget about your conditions. You & I both know that Iran’s leaders are not going to concede, & they won’t be getting new leaders anytime soon. So if you really do NOT want a forever war, just cut your losses & withdraw!

If Moody Analytics is right, this war has cost the average American family $2000, including $1,100 in higher energy costs, $540 in heightened interest rate costs & $360 in military spending. You don’t want to waste any more $$ on this thing, do you?

OoM, I’m sorry that Reuter’s guy upset you by asking if you were  “sick of traveling.” AJ reports that you got irate & insulted him. I think you are wise to cancel the rallies in KS & IA. 

I hope you have a blast at the event in Daytona Beach tonight. Many of your “Front Row Joes” will be cheering you on.

As usual, I close with attention to Burma & ask that you not do anything impulsive. MAH might try to take advantage of you & make some promises that he can’t keep. Don’t fall into his trap.
