My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Thanks for your insistence on being the wild & crazy guy that you are! 

If everyone were as confident as you, the world might be a better place. I say “might” because sometimes you are over-confident & that leads you to make misguided decisions, the worst of which was your impulsive choice to join Bibi in bombing Iran. I’m afraid the quick victory in Venezuela led you to believe our military could work miracles. I hope you learned the difficult lesson that WINTA!!!

Any way, I am thinking about your unique personality today because I keep hearing that no one else will be able to get away with the things you have done as POTUS. That comes as a relief to me, but nonetheless, it is a tribute to your magical ability to motivate the low-propensity voter.

How are your people holding up in this push before the midterms? Are Susan Wiles (SLW) & Natalie Harp getting along? A photo in today’s AP makes it look like they are, but the photographer could have caught a rare moment. Is SLW doing ok without her sidekick, James Blair? 

SoW, did you see the piece about him in today’s G? They say you call him “Brilliant James.” They credit him with fueling your comeback with his data-driven style. It’s not clear to me why folks are so upset about his recent consulting in Bosnia & Herzegovina, but it does show that he’s hedging his bets since your success in the midterms is now in doubt.

I wish I had time to write more but today’s going to be whacky. I was wide awake at 3:30 AM so I did my strength training. I took a nap afterwards & am now headed out to Davis for Meeting.
