My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Right now, you are speaking to the UN. I started to watch but had to switch it off when I heard you say, “This war would not have started if I were President.” That remarks always makes me cringe & AI confirms my impression that you say it a lot.

Please adopt a more constructive narrative.   You admitted in your speech that you do not have as much influence over VVP as you thought, so best not to speculate on what might have happened if you were POTUS on Feb 24, 2022, when Russia invaded Belarus, Crimea & the Donbas.

While I may not always like what you say, I am grateful that you have the freedom to speak your mind. Our Founding Fathers put that in the FIRST ammendment to stress that it is foundational to our democracy. That’s why I am so relieved that Jimmy Kimmel will be back on the air today. Please remind Brendan Carr about the Constitution so he does not get himself in another mess.

You might also remind MAH about the relationship between elections & freedom of speech. He’s quite confused on the matter as is evident in the arrest two of 18-year-olds & three minors in Loikaw, the capital of Karenni State. If those kids are a threat to an election, then MAH is on shaky ground.

As you consider changing your narratives, please talk to the folks at the UC-Davis MIND institute about autism where over 60 faculty research various aspects of the condition, doing all they can to help atypical children & their families to thrive. Among their priorities is destigmatizing autism. Rather than confusing everyone by telling pregnant women not to take Tylenol, you might, instead, discuss ways that schools & communities can accommodate neurodiversity so everyone feels valued.

SoW, you’ve got some tendencies that many associate with autism including your blunt way of speaking, your limited facial expressions, & your aversion to physical touch. I don’t find it useful to label people “on the spectrum” because labels are reductionist & we both know that people are complicated. Let’s embrace everyone’s tendencies & love them for their uniqueness.

BYBS,
