My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
Are you familiar with Madonna’s song, “Like a prayer”? It starts with the lyric, “Life is a mystery.” The video suggests Madonna is grappling with her spiritual upbringing as she worships a Black Jesus in quite a visceral manner. Her name evokes religious connotations so I can imagine she perpetually wonders about Christ & her relationship with him. I am resisting the urge to continue down the rabbit hole of the Queen of Pop & instead will just repeat her sentiment, “Life is a mystery.” I’d love to hear you share a similar sentiment so the youth of America know that even the POTUS questions the meaning of life from time to time.
Did you see the news about the marches & demonstrations yesterday? What did you think of the slogan, "Workers Over Billionaires?” In the reporting of the various events around the nation, participants were quoted as being worried about your penchant for firing employees & lamenting the irreparable damage being done by DOGE. Marchers expressed appreciation for the inspiration they got from being with other like-minded folks.
OoM, it’s time for you to call your buddy Modi & suggest he not be so quick to befriend XJ & MAH. Encourage him to use his influence in SE Asia to get MAH to stop bombing his own citizens. Perhaps he could use the Kaladan Multimodal Transit Transport Project as leverage in making a deal. I am particularly concerned about Modi’s comment about bolstering military-to-military collaboration with the junta. Please tell him that’s a terrible idea! WINTA!
Finally, please look into the case that your attorney general in Spokane, Pete Serrano, is pursuing against Afghanistan war veteran, Bajun Mavalwalla (BM), for participating in an anti-ICE demonstration. BM is of Indian descent. His family was close to Ghandhi. He does not pose a threat to our democracy & was not involved in any violence. Prosecuting him is a waste of taxpayers $$ & makes it look like you are opposed to free speech. That’s not the case, is it?
