My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

                  In an effort to live out our magical equation: Truth + Honesty + Kindness = Love… T + H + K = L, we need to get some facts straight. So today, I feel the need to clarify some things so you can be fully informed.

                  First, according to Google’s AI, “as of July 1, 2025, the estimated population of the United States is approximately 347,275,807.” So please call Rep Mike Johnson & give him a lesson on the magnitude of numbers so he will stop telling people we will have 1 billion deportations every year. When he makes that kind of math mistake, I begin to wonder if he is the best person to be overseeing expenditures of my tax dollars.

                  Second, according to Axios, “47.8 million American immigrants paid nearly $652 billion in taxes” in 2023. Some of those folks did not have documents. Please help me understand why you are so keen on detaining tax paying people who will NOT be getting Social Security. The new BBB will be contributing $3 billion to the debt, so don’t we need all the tax $$ we can get?

                  Third, are you sure about cutting Medicaid? According to KQED, “In CA, of the 13 seats with the largest shift toward Trump in 2024, eight were among the top quartile in Medi-Cal reliance. Twelve of the 13 had Medi-Cal populations above the state average.” What that means is that Reps like, David Valadao of CA’s 22nd Congressional District, won’t be voting for the BBB because it will adversely affect his voters.

                  I encourage your folks to do some more math & rethink this BBB.

                  Finally, since we are all about numbers today, did you know that 227 elephants are currently serving Burma’s resistance? In addition to carrying loads of supplies, they clear & repair damaged roads. They forage for food in the jungle keeping maintenance costs low. Of course, it would be best if they could wander in the jungle, free to do their own thing all the time. I like to imagine a world where that could happen, don’t you?
