My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

                  Most Julys start with a cloudless morning, but today, our skyscape is dotted with cumulus clouds overhead. God is change so I am rejoicing.

                  What are you rejoicing about?

                  I hope your visit to the Everglades today is not too muggy! Are you sure you want to be endorsing a detention center in the middle of a swamp? You will recall that things did not turn out well for Joe Arpaio when he went overboard with detaining immigrants in the blazing sun in AZ. He’s bummed that he’s now considered the “disgraced sheriff” & a racist for his overzealous efforts to deport immigrants.

                  I refuse to write the silly name that folks are using for the center in FL. Dehumanizing people is no joke. Many voters, including me, are averse to concentrating contributing members of society into inhabitable locations to make a mockery of their plight. According to the G, “Sheriff Joe” lost his juju because of his misguided efforts & now “young people, who had come of age fearing Arpaio’s deputies might deport their immigrant family members, have become eligible voters & are registering others.”

                  The FL detention center was built in 7 days so it would be easy to take it down. Please show your compassion & courage by telling the governor to do that.

                  If you want to continue to shock the world, you’d make some changes to your BBB. Robert Reich says, “never before in the history of this nation has such a large redistribution of income been directed upward, for no reason at all. It comes at a time of near-record inequalities of income & wealth.”

Getting rid of the tax break would drive ERM crazy, as would getting rid of the defense spending. I encourage you to follow through on your idea to stop subsidizing his satellites & rocket launches.

                  As usual, I invite you to see what you can do in Burma. They could use some help.
