My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            God is change! How do you feel about this mantra? Do you find it as helpful as I do? Maybe, I’ll put it on my sign for tomorrow’s gathering at the Capitol. I love the way it morphs God from a being to a process. God is no longer a noun. God becomes the wind blowing, the sirens blaring & the sun shining. Dynamics to appreciate right now, because they will stop. It’s akin to the Buddhist idea of Zen, being fully present in this moment.

I hope you don’t mind that I share my philosophical ponderings with you. It’s my nature to muse. It’s the only way I can maintain my relationship with you. It helps me with the rest of my life, too. For example, today I did some googling about do-ocracy, which led to “radical democracy” which led to finding this quote, “democracy is a controversial concept, as different people have different interpretations of it.”

If my spring EDU 100 course were still going, I’d put that on a slide.

            My musings also led me to learn about IL Gov JD Pritzker today. The CSM had a piece about his Jewish commitments & efforts to raise $$ for the Holocaust Museum in Skokie.  I was surprised to learn he “is one of 6 Jewish governors currently in office, all of them Democrats, the most to hold that position at the same time in U.S. history.” Don’t you admire his tenacity? He repeatedly says he’s “as long as I'm governor: If you come for Illinoisans, you have to come through me…. I would remind you that a happy warrior is still a warrior.”

            OoM, did you see the Daily Mail’s coverage of the WH Congressional picnic, featuring Melania’s “bold new look”? How did you like it? We’d call those playful floral trousers, “happy pants” in our house. I appreciated reading about her campaign to combat the ill effects of AI & social media.

            Regarding Burma, those mines that are now controlled by the United Wa State Army are creating abnormally high arsenic levels in the Kok River which is now affecting Thailand. Please call your buddy XJ & tell him to stop buying ore from those mines.
