My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Why does your public calendar skip today? Events are listed for 6/13/25 & 6/15/25, but not today, when you have a LOT going on! You ARE attending the 250th Anniversary of the Army parade, aren’t you? Why not put it on your calendar?

I continue to be baffled by so much of what you do. Maybe you are, too. It’s hard to understand oneself, isn’t it? We think we are calm, cool & collected & then we have an angry outburst & wonder, “where did that come from?” We think we have everything under control & then all hell breaks loose, & we freak out. Knowing oneself is harder than it should be.

These days, my daily reading of the I Ching is helping me let go of my ego. It’s constant suggestions to follow the Sage & my “superior self” enable me to not dwell on a personal affront & just keep moving forward. You might give it a try.

Did you know that last Sunday was Pentecost, the 50th day after Easter, when the Catholics celebrate the start of their church. According to Acts 2, the believers were gathered together, “a sound like the rush of a violent wind … filled the entire house where they were sitting”. Tongues of fire appeared. They “were filled with the Holy Spirit & began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability”.

Wouldn’t that be cool if all of a sudden you could speak a new language? Which would you pick? I’d have trouble choosing between Russian & Chinese.

I read about Pentecost because they celebrated it in Yangon, at St. Mary’s Cathedral, despite the fact they are enduring difficulties that surpass human comprehension. It’s amazing how belief in love & unity brings hope. That’s the message we need today.

BYBS,
