My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            Are you planning to stop by church today? I encourage you to do so. Some quiet contemplation, some singing, communing with others to reflect on the week, would do you some good. Even if you don’t believe in God or that Moses parted the Red Sea or whatever happened to Paul on the road to Damascus, finding sanctuary among your brethren will sooth your sin sick soul. We all have one. Everyone regrets words spoken in anger, deeds done impulsively or intentions not fulfilled. If we are to be our own best friends, we need to learn from our mistakes, forgive ourselves & move on.

            Speaking of places of worship, the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Mandalay, Father Peter Kyi Maung, has requested help with his buildings. In an appeal to the new Pope he wrote, “we must now rebuild not only our physical structures, but also hope within our war-torn communities." Please see what you can do.

            I need to head off to meeting for worship, so I am making this short.
