My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

Are you taking a rest after your travels to Asia? I assume that’s the case since you don’t have any events on your public calendar.  

Taking the day off when the government is shut down may not be the best choice of action, especially when the people of NJ, VA & CA are going to the polls. I encourage you to call Sen Susan Collins to get the details on the conversations that she’s been having with “numerous Democrats” as well as her GOP colleagues that make her “optimistic that an agreement to reopen the federal government could be reached by the end of this week.” She says things will settle out once the elections are over. 

Speaking of elections, why didn’t you endorse Winsome Earle-Sears in her bid to become the first Black woman to be a governor. I hope you don’t have a grudge against her for her 2022 comments to Fox News that “a true leader understands when they become a liability." You have demonstrated your popularity & still have an opportunity to show some grace by encouraging the folks in VA to vote for her. That might not make a difference since she seems to have misread the sentiments of people there by not talking enough about the economy. & over-emphasizing whether or not trans folks should be able to play sports. Endorsing her even if she might lose would be generous gesture. 

Since you are laying low today, you can make a few phone calls. Here are some suggestions. Call Bibi & tell him that ceasefire means just that. According to AJ “Israel continues to carry out deadly attacks” in Gaza putting your deal in jeopardy. Please remind him that WINTA! 

You can also call Arakan Army (AA) Commander-in-Chief Major General Tun Myan Naing to get his ideas about ending the hostilities in Burma. He’s particularly keen on getting Daw Aung San Suu Kyi released from prison. That’s something you might be able to engineer & would bring hope to the exhausted citizens.
