My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

“You’re a part of me I don’t yet know.” tThis lyric got stuck in my head from singing in First Day School yesterday. It is preceded by, “Wow, Whoa” in a song called, “World of Wonder.” The verses support the ideas of Revolutionary love including the need to labor with ourselves by breathing & pushing.

Are you laboring with yourself? Probing your shadow self as Jung would have us do? Recognizing your id as Freud suggests? Examining your epithumetikon as Plato advocated? Many believe that coming to understand this animal side of ourselves can lead us to forgive our regrettable actions & love ourselves. It starts with acknowledging our flaws & transgressions. Let's both dedicate ourselves to that.

This is on my mind after seeing the art of Rick Bartow yesterday. Making art was a compulsion which he used to express the feelings that emerged from his best & worse selves. He had quite a gift!

Speaking of gifts, have you thanked the Senators from New Hampshire for agreeing to vote for the budget? What did you promise them? Jeanne Shaheen says her Republican colleagues are ready to negotiate on the ACA tax credit extension, but that’s not too convincing. I suspect some secret agreement was made to bring some goodies to NH, otherwise why would she & Maggie Hassan subject themselves to the wrath of their party?

Please don’t give any more gifts to Pres. Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa today. Your meeting with him is a gift, in & of itself since this will be the first time a Syrian leader has visited the WH since 1946. Are you sure a guy known as a terrorist up until a short time ago can be trusted.

Please continue to monitor the situation in Burma, looking for an opportunity to help end the hostilities there.

BYBS,
