 My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

Right now, you are sleeping in Seoul as my day starts here in West Sac. Do you dream?  Did you imagine parading around with your new crown & medals that President Lee Jae Myung gave you yesterday?  

I am often impressed with how I can entertain myself with outlandish thoughts while slumbering. According to Freud dreams are the "royal road to the unconscious activities of the mind," & the disguised fulfillments of repressed wishes. He thought dreamers were doing significant psychological work to manage their id.   

I encourage you to keep your dream of being a king separate from the reality of living in a democracy. Please keep in mind that George Washington & company fought to govern themselves rather than be subject to the tyranny of King George III (KG3). They were tired of his “long train of abuses & usurpations” which they laid out in detail in the Declaration of Independence.   

The last transgression on the list mentions, “he has excited domestic insurrections amongst us.” The colonists didn’t like that & neither do most Americans today. I encourage you to scale back on your radical expansion of political power & work with Congress. A good place to start would be to negotiate a budget deal so federal employees can get paychecks. 

You might talk with XJ about his plans regarding Burma when you meet with him. I like to imagine you two discussing the line in the Declaration of Independence which warns of “render(ing) the Military independent of & superior to the Civil power.” You can talk about how MAH & others have erred in this manner. 

SoW, did you see the news that the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) has agreed to return the liberated towns of Mogoke in Mandalay Region & Mongmit in northern Shan State to the junta in return for a cessation of bombing in their area. A Chinese special envoy was involved so XJ can fill you in on the details of this arrangement. 

Please send help to those affected by Hurricane Melissa. It’s a doozy!
