My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

My Tuesday is just beginning & yours ended a few minutes ago. According to the media during your Tues, you experienced a “charm offensive” from your new buddy, PM Takaichi Sanae, visiting the USS George Washington, signing an agreement & attending a fancy dinner of US beef & Japanese rice.”  Some sources say she plans to give you golden gold balls. Has that happened yet?  

Speaking of new acquaintances, did you get a chance to meet East Timor President, Jose Ramos-Horta (JR-H), during your time in Kuala Lumpur? While you, two, are quite different in many ways, you are kindred spirits in having both survived assassination attempts & both aspiring to bring peace to your worlds.  

JR-H's 1996 Nobel Prize gives him some credibility as a mediator. He now wants to help settle things in Burma & suggests, “with people fighting & dying daily, there is a need to reach out to all sides, in one place, in person, including the Tatmadaw, to try & find an immediate agreement on a ceasefire with no preconditions, such as insisting that the military give up power.” He’s eager to speak with you & finds your approach to international relations “entertaining,” so I encourage you to give him a call. 

Please hold the people of Jamaica in the Light as they face what is forecast to be the worst hurricane in their history. People in low lying areas are particularly vunerable & some are inclined to stay put, seeing this as a test of their faith. Please be ready to send help their way. 

I’m off schedule this AM because I stayed up late watching the marathon World Series game last night. Ohtani never fails to amaze! I’m sure PM Sanae is thrilled by his achievements.  

I need to get on to other things so will close by reminding you that WINTA & suggest that you call off the Venezuela offensive.
