My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
It’s 11:32 PM in Japan right now & I hope you are enjoying a good night’s rest in a comfortable bed. Ideally you will get 4-6 cycles of NREM & REM sleep & wake feeling refreshed.
I rarely sleep through the night & never when I am in an unfamiliar place. Since you also have jet lag to deal with, I wonder if you have some medication to help you get some ZZZs. According to Sleepopilis, you seem to have Margaret Thatcher (MHT)’s gene of not needing much sleep so maybe I should stop worrying about you.
Speaking of MHT, have you heard that she underwent “"electric bath" treatments as part of a regimen to maintain her youthful appearance. These treatments involved a practitioner running 0.3 amps of electricity through bathwater, a method believed by Thatcher to recharge the nervous system and release "blocked" energy. She also got an acorn from Barbara Cartland which she thought had magical powers, as well as “nutrimental capsules” to give her energy.
I am sharing all this with you so you can pass it on to Takaichi Sanae when you meet tomorrow as she fancies herself to be the next “Iron Lady.” She needs as much positive energy as she can get to deal with the complicated politics in Japan these days.
SoW, are you sure it’s wise to use food as a political tool by suspending SNAP payments? I question the wisdom of the inflammatory rhetoric now on the USDA website saying, the Dems “continue to hold out for healthcare for illegal aliens & gender mutilation procedures.” I doubt that’s going to win you votes.
Were you happy with the ceasefire ceremony where the PMs from Thailand & Cambodian signed something related to the five-day conflict in July? I applaud you for using your influence to pressure them to stop fighting. I encourage you to do the same thing for the junta & their opponents in Burma. It would be particularly helpful if you could do so before the “election” in Dec.
Speaking of dubious elections, I was troubled to hear that Cameroon ’s top court declared incumbent Paul Biya, the world’s oldest president at age 92. According to the AP, “Biya’s decision to seek another term angered youth and the opposition, which has accused him of having a hand in the disqualification of his strongest rival and of using “state machinery” to manipulate the election in his favor.”
It’s nice you got a chance to meet Emperor Naruhito. Please thank him for his criticism of attempts to whitewash Japan’s wartime past. I’m jealous that you got a scenic night tour of Tokyo.
BYBS,
RCA
