My dear Friend and President, DJT,

Are you ready to go to Pittsburgh today? It’s going to be a beautiful fall day there so your fans can be outside at the airport. I hope they’ll mask up.

I am waiting to see who you nominate for SCJ before I investigate the candidate. I was sorry to see that Mitt Romney supports moving forward with this whole thing. He’s a principled guy, so I thought he’d stand on the principle that the Senate doesn’t vote on SJ nominees close to an election. I have my fingers crossed Charles Grassley will stand by his statements and decline to vote for the nominee. I hope you will respect folks for upholding their principles even if it gets in the way of your agenda.

What’s your thinking about PPEs these days? I’m sure you are aware of the shortage of N95 masks. Please help me understand why the Pentagon failed to use all of its CARE Act $$ on manufacturing them? I was troubled to read in today’s WP that instead they gave $22 million to a Rolls-Royce subsidiary to upgrade their munitions factory and $2 million to American Wool Co to make fabric for Army dress uniforms.

Isn’t it time to bring the manufacture of N95s back to the USA? Since 3M & Honeywell can’t make enough of them, please help folks like, Ranvir Gujral, turn his factory floor into a N95 mask production facility. Before he risks investing in the machinery, his company, Adaptive Energy, needs assurance from the Pentagon that they’ll buy his products after CV slows down. Please see to it that he, & other folks like him, can get busy turning electrostatically charged polypropylene fibers into masks that trap the virus.  I’d like to have some.

Since you worry that the folks at the Pentagon, ““want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy,” I would think that you’d encourage them to spend their CARE $$ on something other than war apparatus.

            HYITL,

            RCA
