My Friend DJT,

This is going to be a quickie because I want to get to the Farmer’s Market before it gets crowded. I want to buy some eggplant seedlings from the nice Filipino lady who is having a tough time right now.

Speaking of tough times, it sounds like Honduras is struggling. While I love the idea of sharing our ventilators with them, I don’t trust President Hernandez (JOH). I’ve told you before that his brother is a drug dealer & I found out today that JOH accepted campaign $$ from drug lords who use Honduran soldiers to protect their coke shipments. The Honduran health care system is a mess. They only spend 8.5% of the GDP on it & a share of that $ has been going into the pockets of the administrators. Who knows what’s going to happen to those ventilators.

Speaking of ventilators, I was excited to hear about the special COVID ventilator that engineers at NASA have invented. I think you saw it yesterday when Jim Bridenstine visited the WH. Please share the news about its wonderful features - “highly dynamic” & “offers more oxygen at higher pressures” because that’s what COVD patients tend to need. It can be built “quickly, using fewer parts” & is only meant to last a few months. I encourage you to give the chief engineer, Dr. Stacey Boland, a call to congratulate her for leading her Jet Propulsion Lab team to get it designed in record time.

“Aerospace Valley Positive Pressure Helmet” is very cool, too. I wonder how it works. Apparently, it helps folks breath so they don’t have to go on the ventilator. Isn’t it great that we have a federal agency full of brilliant people who work hard? Did you know their motto is “Dare Mighty Things”? I love that.
