My dear Friend and president, DJT,

It's my anniversary. 23 years ago, I exchanged vows with my husband on an outcropping above a small lake on the family property in Dunbar, WI. Our assembled guests stomped on the ground to keep the red ants at bay, while we said, "I do.". Then we all hiked back to our cabin and went for a swim. It was a great day and he's still my best friend. We don't usually do much to celebrate. I understand that the same is true of you and Melania.

Have you seen that statue of Melania outside of Sevnica? I'm afraid that it's not at all flattering. The guy who made it was born in the same hospital in the same month as Melania. I encourage you to watch a documentary of him making the sculpture. He sings songs, chatters on about life in Slovenia and carves with his chainsaw with a cigarette in his mouth. To put food on the table, he's a ditch digger and has to work all the time. He'd like a Sunday off to spend with his wife. The statue is kind of endearing so maybe he's got a soft spot for Melania. I hope she's gracious about it.

Are you ready to be gracious when the US women win the World Cup tomorrow? They've worked hard and deserve some recognition. You were brilliant to send an all-female delegation to watch the finals. Have you spent much time with Shauna Rohbock one of the members of the delegation? She's got quite the CV! Silver medal bob-sledder, pro soccer player, member of the Utah National Guard and part of your council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. I'm not sure what the council does, beyond giving out presidential patches to kids who pass the fitness test. I encourage you to invite her to the WH to help you get in shape. She could also teach you how to bob sled. Anyway, I hope you'll watch the game with Barron and tweet some encouraging words to the team!
