…I encourage you to take a look at the article in today's NYT about the closing of the Warroad Pioneer, the newspaper that has been serving a corner of northern MN for the last 121 years. The owner says that the“dire retail reconfiguration and exodus has had a catastrophic impact on this community newspaper.” Maybe you can do something about this…

So, my suggestion for the day is, if we want to keep seeing the reduction in crime that has been taking place for the past 30 years let's keep giving women access to family planning. That insures that babies will be born to parents who can care for them.

…I'm afraid that you got carried away yesterday at that Teen Action Summit and claimed that Article II of the Constitutiongives you the right to do whatever you want. …I'm sure you'll have a blast at the Teen Student Action Summit today. Those bright-eyed kids remind me of the "Dartmouth Review" crew in Hanover in 1978-1982. It was amazing what a ruckus a few well-funded youngsters can kick up. I have always found it ironic that one of the most heartless of the group has since become a Catholic priest….

I found it interesting that TX Rep. William Hurd voted with the Dems to condemn those tweets yesterday. He's a fascinating guy, don't you think? The Texas Monthly noted that he is "exuberant and wonky" and manages to "speak truth to power." He's an old-fashioned conservative while being against the Wall and your immigration policies… " Do you think he could be President someday? We could do worse.
