You amaze me! You just went way out of your way to be a gracious host to XJ & his wife & now you are off to watch the Tenn/TX football game. Where does your energy come from?
I am fatigued today. I attribute it to my new exercise regime which my PT has prescribed to get me strong. On Thursday, I worked with some heavy weights & yesterday I jogged for 25 minutes. I also am looking after some puppies which I have to carry around all the time. That’s nothing compared to your activities. I can’t imagine keeping up a schedule like yours when I’m 80.
OoM, as you contemplate changing the name of the Strait of Hormuz, may I suggest you call it the Strait of the Arabian Humpback? This would draw attention to this critically endangered whale. Researchers think 80 individuals survive. They don’t migrate like all the other humpbacks so everyone would know exactly what you are referring to should you start calling the strait by that name.
SoW, you were joking when you suggested calling it the Strait of Trump, weren’t you?
OoM, are you ready for this big storm that’s about to hit? The NY Daly News is calling it the “Wet & Windy Wallop (W&WW)” & the Philly Inquirer had a photo of surfers hitting the waves in Ocean City, NJ. DC is getting rain right now, but I’m not sure it’s as bad as they predicted it could be.
SoW, what is your admin doing to prepare for the Super El Niño coming our way? You do believe the scientists who say the conditions are indicating things are going to be WET & WILD!
Speaking of acute precipitation, according to the UN, “as of 26 September, an estimated 1 million people across 70 out of the 330 townships in Myanmar are reportedly affected by the flooding from heavy monsoon rains & remnants of Typhoon Yagi…(which has) caused widespread devastation, submerging thousands of crops, farmlands, & livestock, leading to substantial losses in the livelihoods of affected communities.” It is especially bad in Rahkine State so if you want to help, which I hope you will, you need to talk to the Arakan Army.
Please join me in holding the people affected by the flooding in Burma in the Light. You might also pray for the folks in DC, NYC & Boston who may be affected by the W&WW.
