It’s too bad that the UN General Assembly (UNGA) is happening at the same time that NYC faces bad weather. Fox News says it’s going to be “a messy week as the first fall nor'easter takes shape, threatening the Tri-State area with heavy rain & powerful wind gusts.”

At least the weather was nice enough yesterday for you & Mayor Mamdani (ZKM) to have your press conference outside. SoW, what did you think of the NY Post’s headline that your “Mam’s best friend” & that the two of you are in a “bromance?” It’s too bad that they make fun of the fact that you, two, found common ground in your hope to begin developing Sunnyside Yards by building a platform over the train tracks. 

As you build a partnership with ZKM, I hope you will consider his concern for the refugees in NYC. During the press conference you acknowledged he expressed strong feelings about this issue & you claimed to “feel strongly about taking care of people” so I hope that you act on that by changing your mind about revoking TPS from Hondurans, Haitians, Venezuelans, Burmese, & residents from 8 other countries. 

As Antonio Guterres reminded us today in his speech at the UNGA, “humanity faces an unprecedented convergence of threats,” so we need to “protect civilians without exception.”

I hope your speech today gets more press coverage than your ribbon cutting at the new WH helipad yesterday. When even your buddies at Fox turn their back on you, you know you’ve gone too far. The WSJ noted that you declared the ban shortly after Natalie (NH) showed you some MS NOW hosts criticizing you. CNN also reported that Susie Wiles & JD Vance weren’t there when you made the decision. You might want to reconsider your relationship with NH. She’s getting you in trouble.
