I see that you are heading for Macungie, PA today to visit the Mack truck company Is your trip to the factory about celebrating truckers, celebrating the workers at the facility or to appease the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group that owns the place? SoW, please help me understand how promoting a Chinese owned company is going to help MAGA.
SoW, are you ready for someone to ask what you’re doing to safeguard us against the Chinese hacking our transportation system & disrupting commerce? The Coalition for a Prosperous America published a piece about these dangers back in 2019 & I’m sure they haven’t gone away.
I hope the factory visit brings you some joy. So much joy, that your Orbicularis oculi muscles contract & you break into a true Duchenne smile. SoW, scientists have found that those muscles operate on an unconscious level so you can’t fake a true smile.
Maybe driving one of the new Pioneer trucks being manufactured at the plant will stimulate those Orbicularis oculi muscles. Apparently these new models provide “premium driver comfort, including an optional seating system with dual armrests, heating, cooling & massage functions.”
Are you prepared for the protestors you will be encountering on your visit? They’re upset about the ICE facility slated for their community & disappointed that their rep, your buddy, Dan Meuser, refuses to meet with them. They want him to know that the facility will deprive local communities of $828,000 in critical tax revenue & lead to lower property values. Please consider giving up on the whole ICE enterprise. It’s not popular & it’s causing too much harm & anxiety.
OoM, do you know who is in charge of the Arakan Army? Are you aware that they are in control of the Rahkine State in Burma through which both India & China would like to make a corridor to the Indian Ocean? You might want to develop a relationship with whoever is in charge so you have some influence over the region. According to the Irrawaddy, the AA “administers local governance, taxation, policing, judicial affairs & public services” & could use some humanitarian assistance. Please see what you can do.
