My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Sorry to miss writing these last couple of days. I camped with some Quaker Affiliated families on Mount Diablo over the weekend. I slept on the ground looking at the stars through my tent. Have you ever done that? How about joining me next time to show the world that you are the spriest 80 year old on the planet?

I spent Sat AM walking rather than consuming the news. I’m grateful to Frederick Law Olmstead for recommending that CA protect the land around the summit so the whole mountain remains undeveloped. When you visit the park you’ll see the fog over SF Bay. Super cool! 

Did you have fun at your birthday party? I’ll bet your were thrilled by what NYT called, “Justin Gaethje’s brutal victory over the previously undefeated Topuriavi.” I’m just grateful that it’s over & nothing too awful happened. I hope you aren’t so exhausted from all the excitement that you have trouble staying awake for your meetings at the G7.

Your success in getting to an agreement with Iran might give you the adrenaline your need to fuel you for all three days. I understand that Emmanuel Macron (EJMFM) is using a dinner at Versailles on Wednesday as an enticement for you to stay at the Summit the whole time. 

I like to imagine that you will reconcile with your old friends, especially Giorgia Meloni, so her idea of an EU envoy for Ukraine can move forward. I’m impressed that she is eager to collaborate with Italy’s WWII enemies. Please put on your peacemaker persona to help her along.

I hope you’ll bring up the topic of Burma. It will fit well with EJMFM’s agenda to focus on “global economic imbalances” which the G says is “code for booming Chinese exports & accusations that Chinese state subsidies are fueling a record Chinese trade surplus.” In case you didn’t know, MAH was just greeted in Bejing with a red carpet, so the G7 crew should keep en eye on whether he sells any rare earth minerals to XJ.

Just seeing your itinerary for the next few days makes me tired. I hope the supercharge of your birthday bash sustains you. A power nap each day could make a huge difference. I encourage you to give it a try.
