My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Today is POTUS 23, Benjamin Harrison, Day! 

In case you were wondering, he’s known for championing civil rights,  publicly endorsing bills to protect African American voting rights & protecting forests. Like you he was a big fan of taxing imports, & signed the McKinley Tariff Act of 1890, which raised average tariff rates to 49.5%. This move doomed his chances for re-election. A cautionary tale!

I learned that on “National Today (NT)” which I arrived at when searching for info about your meeting with Chancellor Friedrich Merz (FM) yesterday. NT ran a piece about your mistakenly claiming that your dad was born in Germany. They noted that you get away with this kind of gaffe when JRB didn’t. I wonder why you can’t seem to remember that your dad was born in NYC.

Anyway back to your meeting with FM, Politico reported that “the EU’s most powerful national leader (was) sitting obsequiously beside (you) as (you) berated fellow European leaders.” So apparently FM stuck to his game plan & refrained from lecturing you about bombing Iran & reserved his critical comments about your treatment of his friends in England & Spain for his private conversations with you.

Apparently FM & his crew have “reached a limit in terms of what (they) are willing to accept.” I’d hate to see us ruin our relationships with our friends in Europe so I hope you can try to understand why folks are questioning your decision to go along with Bibi’s plan to obliterate Iran. 

Please remember, “you can’t kill the devil with a gun or a sword.” WINTA!

It’s time for you to use your moral imagination to imagine a new way to interact with other leaders in the world so you can realize your dream of being a peace maker. Perhaps you & I can read MLK’s book, Strength to Love, where he writes, “"Human salvation lies in the hands of the creatively maladjusted."  

Should we ask MAL to join us, too? He needs to get creative about how he can transform the situation in Burma!
