My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

How ARE you? I’m not asking about your physical health, although that’s very important. Of course, I hope you are pain-free & energetic.

When I ask how ARE you, I’m asking about the state of your spirit. Is it full of love, ready to embrace the vitality within each person you encounter?

Maybe not. It seems to me that you are struggling & that’s affecting everyone’s spiritual well-being.

While I am most grateful that you decided to delay bombing the electricity infrastructure in Iran, I encourage you to cancel it altogether. Escalation will not improve the situation in the Mid-East & that situation is casting a shadow over the whole world.

The gas shortage is taking a heavy toll on the citizens of Burma. They are having to wait in long lines to pay far too much to fill their tanks. Stations run out of gas in a couple of hours. I remember 1973-4 when that kind of thing was happening in the USA. It was freaky & I hope it doesn’t happen again. In the meantime I’m thinking of switching to an electric vehicle.

Back to your effects on everyone, the folks I’m worrying about today are our farmers & our marginalized citizens.

I’m sure you’re aware that growers have to finalize their decisions about whether to plant soybeans or corn or nothing at all. According to the G they have “become casualties in the US-Israel war against Iran,” because the cost of fertilizers has sky rocketed. Many are doubting they can stay in business & as one put it, “If we can’t afford to put a crop in the ground, we (the nation) then become more dependent on foreign nations to feed our own people.” Please heed their concerns & STOP EFO now!!!

Regarding our marginalized citizens, I’m worried that they have little faith in law enforcement. Rather than trust that the police will protect them, they fear they will be harmed by them. Efforts like your Memphis Safe Task Force that you are highlighting today on your visit to TN promote fear among Black & Brown citizens rather than security. I hope you’ll listen to Police Chief Cerelyn “C.J.” Davis’ ideas about policing while your visiting with her today so she can explain why we need national standards so officers manage situations with “the end goal being mutual respect & making sure everyone goes home safe.”

LYGST,
