My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Your schedule has not been posted for today so I have no idea what you might be up to. I assume you returned from Iowa safely. Are you still feeling the uplift from your visit to the Machine Shed Diner where the customer prayed for you? The place looked full of patrons so I assume their special, Chicken & Wild Rice Soup was appetizing.

Are you meeting behind closed doors today to recalibrate what Homeland Security is up to? I’m sure you’ve heard about Rep Robin Kelly bill to fire Kristi Noem (KN). I encourage you to investigate the third article of the impeachment accusing KN of “self-dealing” for her $143 million contract with Safe America Media, which is run by the husband of her chief spokesperson. Doesn’t sound good, especially because the company was incorporated days before the contract was made.

I like to think you & Susan Wiles are crafting a major reset in light of pronouncements of people like co-founder of Latinas for Trump, Florida state Sen. Ileana Garcia (R), who thinks you need to fire Stephen Miller for “distorting, politicizing, slandering – justifying what happened to Alex Pretti…  He was neither a domestic terrorist nor an assassin.” 

If you do make major changes, I encourage you to be truthful. According to Jonathan Brill, “trust begins with transparency” & this includes admitting failure. If you & KN can convince everyone you understand the error of your ways in MN & are going to scale back ICE activities until staff can be properly trained so they don’t kill innocent people, then we might start to have more faith in KN & her leadership.

I’m worried about the government shutting down over this & hope you will do something to ensure that doesn’t happen.

Speaking of government dysfunction, things keep getting worse in Burma with residents of Penwegon fleeing due to a coordinated resistance offensive. The war weary people in that country deserve some tranquility. Please see what you can do to make that happen.
