My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

We both have full schedules today so I will keep this missive brief. My primary goal is to let you know that I love you & want you to be your best self. 

It would be easier to love you if you stopped pestering Jerome Powell(JHP). Congress has charged his team with promoting “maximum employment & price stability.” They are supposed to be free of political influence so they can “focus on long-term economic stability rather than short-term political objectives, reinforcing the credibility & effectiveness of (their) policy actions.” I can’t blame JHP for getting prickly over an investigation of the cost overruns of the federal building retrofit. As a developer you know that cost overruns are to be expected, especially when working on an old building. Best to leave him alone until he finishes his term in May.

It would also be easier to love you if you took some kind of action to support the people of Burma. Today, you could make some noise about the junta’s announcement that they are considering revamping their dam building project on the Irrawaddy in the Kachin State. it’s a bad idea for too many reasons to enumerate & the only folks benefiting from that effort will be the Chinese. I encourage you to make a post saying something like “XJ & MAH don’t build that damn damn.”

I am off to see if I can still throw a pot. It’s supposed to be like riding a bike. We’ll see.
