My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
How much time do you spend alone? Do you ever seclude yourself? Sit in contemplation to think about the meaning of life, to listen for that still small voice, to hear your heartbeat & to relish your life?
Time by oneself in silence is so torturous to most people that solitary confinement is the ultimate punishment in most prisons, but in small doses it can be illuminating. Blaise Pascal thought so & wrote in 1654, “all of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.” I encourage you to give it a try. I worry that you often seem so agitated. You frequently complain about some wrongdoing you have suffered. You let people’s criticisms get to you & react in an overly harsh manner when things don’t go your way.
That was evident in your reaction that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruling that you can’t use the IEEPA to impose tariffs was “highly partisan.” Do you really think that 7 judges are all out to get you? Did you read where it said in the IEEPA that an emergency is something “unusual & extraordinary’’? If so, please help me understand how longstanding trade deficits fit that definition. Some silent contemplation might help you rethink the whole tariff thing.
Please encourage Bibi, VVP & MAL to spend some alone time, too. They both need to some soul soothing to help them become less belligerent. Finding peace in our hearts, overcoming fear requires us to accept the paradox of life, specifically that it will end someday. Rushing around, creating drama & demanding attention are just distractions to the ultimate reality that life is finite.
Peace begins within so if you really want that Nobel prize, I suggest you spend some time by yourself reconciling your internal struggles.
BYBS,
