My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
Have you heard of Mario Guevara, the journalist ICE is detaining for live streaming their activities? Is that a crime? If ICE is doing stuff in public, it can be filmed & shared. That’s what freedom of the press is all about. If what ICE is doing is supposed to be secret, then they better stop doing it in public.
SoW, why do the ICE agents hide their faces? If someone is representing our government, they should be proud of their efforts & execute their duties in a transparent manner. Secrecy suggests clandestine activities that actors are ashamed of. If ICE agents are not proud of their work, they shouldn’t be doing it. Right?
Have you heard that some non-ICE guys are putting on masks & ICE outifts, pretending to be agents & committing crimes? I suggest calling off the whole campaign to lock up immigrants since the whole thing has turned into a debacle.
I am disappointing that you are stepping back from your peace keeping efforts & giving up on the idea of a tri-lateral meeting with VOZ & VVP. While ending the war in Ukraine may be more complicated that you realized, don’t stop now! According to the BBC, Russia just launched 574 drones & 40 missiles on Ukraine in one of the heaviest bombardments in weeks. Please help put a stop to that. WINTA!
As you endeavor to bring peace to the world, please keep an eye on the plight of the Rohingya refugees stuck in Cox Bazaar. Bangladesh is hosting a conference there to bring attention to their plight focusing on humanitarian assistance & repatriation strategies. Unfortunately they have excluded camp-based youth leaders, human rights activists, & journalists, so it’s doubtful that the full truth will be told.
As suggested by Biblehub.com, “True peace is grounded in truth, & any attempt to achieve peace apart from truth is ultimately futile.” So, as you pursue your quest to get the Nobel Peacekeeping prize, you might ensure that the truth can be told everywhere in the world by encouraging journalists to report on what they see.
