My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

                  29 years ago, I got married. My spouse has gone through many iterations since then, as have I. Each change has complicated our relationship & navigating our marital landscape continues to challenge us, both. God is change so I rejoice with each transformation.

My spouse’s latest development is to use public transportation. While I welcome his newfound autonomy, I find myself fretting in the evening when he has not yet arrived home, so I go for a walk hoping to encounter him as he wheels his way home. For the past 3 days, I have succeeded, convincing me, once again that I am guided by a mystical force that creates magical moments.

                  SoW, have you heard of a Self-Transcendent Experience (STE), when you lose track of yourself as you get connected to the universe? David Yaden draws on Wm James in his research & starts his seminal article on STEs with WJ’s quote, “we can experience union with something larger than ourselves & in that union find our greatest peace.”

                  I think the Dalai Lama was talking about STEs at his birthday when he said, “"While it is important to work for material development, it is vital to focus on achieving peace of mind through cultivating a good heart & by being compassionate, not just toward near and dear ones, but toward everyone,"

                  SoW, I’m glad Sec Rubio made it clear that XJ should not be trying to name the next Dalai Lama.

                  On other matters, it’s too bad that you used the word, “shylock”, on Thursday. I know you weren’t trying to offend anyone, but the Antidefamation League claims you did. I’m sure you saw their statement that the word, ““evokes a centuries-old antisemitic trope about Jews & greed that is extremely offensive & dangerous.” Please apologize.

                  Finally, please continue with your peacemaking efforts around the globe & add Burma to the list of places that could use some conflict resolution. The Karenni Nationalities Defense Force just shot down one of the junta’s two-seater Chinese FTC-2000Gs so the war continues to rage in Burma. Please call Gen MAL & recite our mantra, WINTA!
