                  It seems that you are flying high with your “win” with the EU trade deal, the new golf course & the AI Bills. I heard you taking credit for preventing six major wars. Basking in the limelight must be fun. Just remember what happened to Icarus & check yourself.

                  Rumor has it that your people are considering talking with Padoh Kwe Htoo Win, the elected leader of the Karen National Union, which controls the rare earth mines in the mountains of the Kachin state. Reuters says that Adam Castillo is pitching some ideas, while “Swedish author Bertil Lintner, a leading expert on Kachin State, said the idea of the United States obtaining rare earths from Myanmar from under the nose of China seemed ‘totally crazy’ given the unforgiving mountainous terrain & primitive logistics.”

                  If these speculations are true, I must remind you that a primary reason for the high yield of the Burma mines is due to the lack of environmental regulation. If we get involved, I urge you to ensure that extraction is done without undue harm to the miners & the landscape.  

                  I wonder if we could come up with another way to run our computers so we didn’t need neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium & terbium & would not be so dependent on China to supply us with them. McKinsey just came out with a report on recycling these minerals which your people should take a look at.

                  Thanks for attending to the children suffering in Gaza. I am grateful that you continue to pressure Bibi & VVP to end their hostilities. Please add Min Aung Hlaing to your list of misguided leaders who need a reminder that WINTA!
