My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

I’m sorry you had to dash off from the G7 before it was over. Were you able to reconnect with your buddies? You must have been happy to be front & center in the family photo & not standing next to 6’6” German Chancellor Fredrich Merz. How does that guy fit in a cockpit?

            Did you see a bear?

Have you talked to Bibi? Have you reminded him WINTA? Have you told him that bombing the Iranian TV Station while newscaster, Sahar Emami, was on the air was a bad look?

According to the CSM, some Israelis living in Tel Aviv think we’re going to help out with this. One said, “we will be OK if the U.S. joins us to finish up the nuclear capabilities of Iran, & then, maybe, they will get to their knees.” Please clarify that we have no intention of join.

The best way to end these hostilities is to follow the Quaker path & “end the occasion of war.” Our hero John Woolman reminded us to “look upon our treasures, & the furniture of our houses, & our garments…& try whether the seeds of war have any nourishment in these our possessions.”  A tall order, but worth a try.

How does it feel to be 79?

Speaking of birthdays, Aung San Suu Kyi’s (ASSK) 80th is on Thursday & her son is keeping his mom’s name in the news aims by collecting 80,000 video messages from around the world with greetings for her. He’s gathered over 53,000 submissions so far. Please consider making one yourself.

I encourage you to listen to the song being used to spread the word. It’s based on a poem ASSK wrote with the stanzas, “In the quiet land of Burma, no one laughs & no one thinks out loud.”

Many fear the USA will become a quiet land. As much as I appreciate silence, I don’t want to live in a quiet land. Let’s not go there, shall we?

            BYBS,
