My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

How did you feel about your Christmas celebration?  

I saw the video of you looking glum white Melania chattered away with her dad. I was surprised you had a moment to yourself in a room full of people & it’s too bad someone shot a video of you while you were contemplating life. Perhaps, you were missing your loved ones who have passed on, or perhaps, you were mulling over your next steps in bringing peace to the world. It’s too bad that the Irish Star & Yahoo interpreted this one moment as representative of your whole holiday experience in what they are calling your “miserable Christmas.”  

OoM, how are you feeling about the Burma election?  

The NYT reports that some folks hope this is the start of some changes while many of those who voted did so out of fear. A few candidates are optimistic. “U Kyaw Min Htet, 30, is running for Parliament in the Yangon region with the People’s Pioneer Party (PPP), whose plan for the country is ‘reconstruction, rehabilitation & recovery.’ I hope the PPP succeeds in this plan. 

Please attend to Morgan Michaels admonition that “the international community needs to do something differently in Myanmar... if they keep waiting & do nothing, then the country is going to continue to fragment & be pulled closer & closer into China’s orbit.” I know you don’t want that. 

How did you feel about your visit with Bibi?  

I’m sure you were thrilled by the announcement that you will be the first non-Israeli to get the Israel Prize & Bibi’s observation that “we have never had a friend like DJT in the WH.” Did Bibi appreciate your assessment of his strength? I inquire about this because Robert Tait writes in the G that your “meeting came at a time of significant friction ... & the words of praise disguised likely feelings of mutual irritation.” 

What did you two decide about Phase 2 of the Peace plan? According to NPR “Israeli officials have been taking a lot of time to vet and approve members of the Palestinian technocratic committee from a list given to them by the mediators, & Israel continues its military strikes.” Did you remind Bibi that WINTA & to stop being so belligerent? 

My suggestion for the day is that you not believe everything that VVP says. His guys have not provided any evidence that Ukraine sent drones to bomb his place in Novgorod. He’s a crafty fellow, not to be trusted.
