My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

You must be exhausted after your 1.5 hour talk last night in Rocky Mount, NC. According to AI, it ended at 10:34 PM so you must have arrived in FL after mid-night. If you are like me, it takes a while to relax after getting amped up, so my guess is you didn’t fall asleep until 2 or 3 AM. I don’t know how you sustain a schedule like that! 

The speech didn’t get much press. All I could find was a Newsweek headline about you blasting the FBI for raiding  Melania’s underwear drawer & something about you giving federal recognition to the Lumbee Tribe this week.  

Your affiliation with the Lumbee Tribe took me by surprise until I learned that they have a voting block in a contested Congressional District. It did not surprise me that you dodged some laws to get them recognized. Did you realize that since early colonial records often labeled them as "mulatto," "colored," or "Black," they haven’t fit the 25 C.F.R. Part 83 criteria that they descend from a historical Indian tribe? Don’t get me wrong, I’m delighted that they will now get access to federal benefits. The fact that they had to fight so hard for them shows how complicated our laws can be.  

Their mixed-race status has me thinking about “intersectionality” today, but I don’t have time to educate you about that so I will let my thoughts about identity season. 

It’s too bad that they redacted so much from the Epstein files! Just remember the truth will set you free, so best to put it out there. 

As usual, I ask that you pressure MAH to improve the situation in Burma. You might also call XJ & encourage him to get his people to team with your people to get rid of the scam centers. Doing so will not only help all of the vulnerable citizens of the US & China from being exploited by the scammers, it will also send a message to MAH that he needs to change.
