My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

How did the FIFA thing go? Since NPR did not report on it, you must have avoided saying something outrageous. I appreciate that. 

I’m hopeful that when you host the Kennedy Center honors you will also refrain from saying something outrageous. I encourage you to remember that the event is about the honorees, not you. So, keep the boasting to a minimum.  

I am curious about how KISS got on the list of honorees, especially given some of the things that Paul Stanley said about Jan 6.   

Their music sounds loud & dissonant to me. Their lyrics trouble me & song titles such as "Burn Bitch Burn" confirm their unenlightened attitudes toward women. While it turns me off, according to Chuck Klosterman, their fans love them & still think they’re jerks. He says their decisions are “premeditated for maximum fiscal impact... to “qualify” as a Kiss supporter, you have to be a Kiss consumer.” They are over the top & don’t care who they offend. Does Barron like them?  

Speaking of Jan 6, the new name on the front pages today is Dan Bongino, whose remarks led AP to highlight, “the disconnect for a government that prides itself for cracking down on violent crime & supporting law enforcement but has papered over the brutality of the Jan. 6 attacks on police officers.” Perhaps you can work with him & Kash Patel to acknowledge the criminal acts of the rioters on Jan 6 so it’s clear that your administration is, indeed, committed to upholding the law. That would help people, like me, rest easier. 

In the “you can’t have it both ways” department, please fix the discrepancy between the State Dept’s caution against travel to Burma due to the violence there with Homeland Security’s declaration that it is now safe. The junta continues to terrorize citizens & jail people for speaking up. It is far from safe!
