My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Where are you? AI says, “based on recent patterns” you “may be at the WH” or one of your properties. I’m sorry you aren’t in Johannesburg . By skipping the G20, you missed an opportunity to engage in some peacemaking.

Did you go to church?  If you left now, you could make it to 2111 Decatur Place NW & worship with the Friends Meeting of Washington. If you don’t have it in you to sit in silence for an hour, you could attend the workshop, “Jesus as Peacemaker” at 12:15 which will explore the many ways in which Jesus modeled nonviolent resistance, especially during the last week of his life.

Jesus’ refusal to lead his followers in a violent overthrow of the Roamn empire might help you to see that WINTA! Non-violent resistance is much more effective because it demonstrates to the oppressors that they will never conquer the hearts & minds of their “subjects.” They may fool themselves into thinking they are in charge, but God gave humans a creative spark which enables them to figure out ways to get around authority. Teachers see this every day in classrooms around the country.

You might mention this to VVP & persuade him to give up on the idea of trying to rule the peoples of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, & Kherson Oblasts. If they don’t want to be ruled by Russians, they will find ways to resist & governing will be a nightmare. Help him see he already rules 6,601,665 mi² & 146.3 million people. That’s plenty!

The junta in Burma shows how futile it is to govern through violence. Without the consent of the populace, they are struggling “to collect taxes, provide public services (including healthcare & education), or administer justice outside major cities & key garrison towns.”  Khin Maung Win (KMW) writing in the Irrawaddy posits that “Myanmar’s Transition to Federal Democracy Is Irreversible.” I encourage you to speak with him to find out how we can help with this transition.

BYBS,
