My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

It’s serene outside my window. 7:25 AM on a Saturday in the fall does not beckon folks to emerge from their units so the street is still. Whisps of cloud paint the cerulean sky. The murder of crows has completed their commute back to the farm fields from their warm roosts atop the buildings downtown. What’s it like in Palm Springs? Are you already out on the golf course? 

While I would love to stay in my bubble, pondering the pleasures of my hamlet, I feel compelled to look at the world beyond. As I do so, I am troubled to see a report in the  Hindustan Times that we have “reactivated the long-closed Roosevelt Roads Naval Station in Puerto Rico after 20 years” & deployed the USS Gerald Ford with its arsenal of bombs, torpedoes, & depth charges to the Caribbean. I must remind you that Venezuela does not represent a security threat & should our military launch a land attack, you will be in the same kind of quagmire that ruined 37’s presidency.

Since your guy, Dan Caine, was never a combatant commander, he may be overlooking some things, so please consult with Laura Richardson before you make any decisions about additional troop movements in the USSOUTHCOM. Having been combatant commander of that unit, she knows who’s who & what’s what.  

Thanks for initiating a Scam Center Strike Force to investigate what’s going on in Karen State in Burma. Please caution Admiral Samuel J. Paparo of the USINDOPACOM not to start any kind of military operation.
