 My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

Happy November. As usual, the months are flying by. Soon it will be 2026 & before we know it, it will be 2028 & time for you to conclude your time as POTUS. Between now & then, I hope you will have your Road to Damascus Moment & be struck by the force of God to change your allegiances, open your heart & spread the Good News that love is the way to peace. 

You could lead the way & help others see the Light. You could model for MAH, VVP, & Bibi what it looks like for a leader to experience a spiritual awakening & they, too, could stop being so belligerent. 

People tell me I am naive, but I have seen people change so I know that nothing is permanent in this dynamic world. As Octavia Butler wrote, “God is Change!” 

Today my hope is fueled by the election results in Holland where young Mr. Rob Jetten came out of nowhere to beat Geert Wilders. It seems that the extreme anti-immigrant policies of the Freedom Party were too much for the majority of the Dutch people. RJ won with a positive campaign that included “het kan wél “ the Dutch version of 43/44’s slogan, “Yes, we can.” According to the G, he’s “a genuine optimist not afraid of a tough debate & a down-to-earth pragmatist” & will be the Netherlands’ first out gay prime minister. 

Perhaps the turnaround in Dutch politics is a cautionary tale for you & will help you to realize that it’s time to reign in Stepehen Miller. According to yesterday’s G, he’s “turning the State department into an ‘anti-immigration machine’” with a daily interagency discussion where a conservative community of diplomats called the Ben Franklin Fellowship thinks about how they can get rid of immigrants. They are going way too far in this effort as was evident in that midnight raid on the Chicago apartment building by U.S. Border Patrol agents. Time to rethink your stance toward immigrants & realize we will need all the help we can get to take care of our aging population.
